What heating power for my aquarium?

To obtain the right power, simply count 1 or 2 watts depending on your liter of water. For example: a 200 watt heater will allow you to heat a 200 liter aquarium.

How to position an aquarium heater?

Thanks to its rubber support suction cups, it can be hung vertically on interior windows. Immersion heaters work best when they are close to the filtration system.

How to heat aquarium water?

For the well-being and health of the fish, you will need to add a heater to your aquarium in order to obtain an adequate temperature.

How do you know if an aquarium heater is working?

If there is no malfunction, your heater emits a light to indicate that it is running. However, it can get stuck in the “on” position. To avoid this, check the temperature regularly with a thermometer.

The heater should be submerged, held using suction cups which attach to the wall of the aquarium and can be placed wherever you choose, but preferably near a stirring area.

How do I clean my heating?

Clean the exterior of the heater regularly to maintain good heat distribution throughout. To remove algae adhering to the heating block, place a dry cloth on the block and wipe clean. In the case of seawater, coral can be removed with an acidic solution (handle with care).
