How to position an aquarium heater?

Thanks to its rubber support suction cups, it can be hung vertically on interior windows. Immersion heaters work best when they are close to the filtration system.

Where to place the heater in an aquarium?

For optimal heat distribution in your aquarium, place your immersion heater where the water circulates the most, near the filter outlet or near the air diffuser.

How do I clean my heating?

Clean the exterior of the heater regularly to maintain good heat distribution throughout. To remove algae adhering to the heating block, place a dry cloth on the block and wipe clean. In the case of seawater, coral can be removed with an acidic solution (handle with care).

What temperature for my aquarium water?

Most fish and plants will do well in an aquarium at 24-26°C. Only some fish, such as discus, prefer temperatures close to 30°C.

How to place the internal heating?

The heater should be submerged, held using suction cups which attach to the wall of the aquarium and can be placed wherever you choose, but preferably near a stirring area.

How to place the external heating?

Very easy to use, it must be connected to the outlet tube of your filter, between the outlet of the external filter and the cane. Note that its use may slightly reduce filter flow.
